This is the last stop on the line, located at the entrance to the Military Base. Until the 1960s there was another stop inside the base, near the quay, used exclusively by the marines and before the Civil War the line actually went inside what is now the Naval Base right up to the dock, for loading and unloading merchandise on the boats that covered the routes from the Port of Sóller to Marseilles, Sete, or other Mediterranean ports carrying fruit (oranges), fabric from the textile factories there used to be in Sóller and other goods and passengers.
As late as 1958, the Ferrocarril de Soller company named the transport of military material as one of the most important kinds of the line. According to the information available, the stop inside the Naval Base was still operational between 1970 and 1975.
