Marysol halt

Obligatory stop. This is the former tram station. The building is comprised of two main parts, one square in shape and with three floors, and one single-storey rectangular one with a porch. The hotel Marisol was located in this building. On the second floor there were seven rooms and a restaurant on the ground floor. The building was expropriated during the Civil War and used as lodgings for the Italian submarine officers who docked at the base. It is currently used as a restaurant alone.
There is a crossing here which was extended when the railway line was electrified, in order to facilitate the manoeuvring of a full train convoy.
